Ledgers is horizontal unit of the scaffold system also known as guard rails are made from 48mm diameter tubes with a cast wedge fixing device at each end.
Ledgers are positioned horizontally between two vertical scaffold standards to give the length of the scaffold bay, at platform level. Their approval classifies them as non-load bearing. The guard rail ledger comes in various sizes and provides automatic spacing of standards in access scaffold support applications.
